"The Sleeping Pig"
I'd been reading a lot about Beatrix Potter. Can you tell? She definitely influenced this painting of my dresser top and its inhabitants. I tried to capture the soft light and quirky charm of some of my surroundings. There's an illustrative quality to this painting, but I don't mind that at all.
